Ever started a new week or a new day with no idea how you would go about your tasks, no plans and not sure how to achieve your set goals?, that was me at the beginning of this week. I started off this week very unsure of what to expect or how to go about anything but one thing I knew was, as long as I wake up to a new day, something would come up that I would need to get done somehow. So after thinking for a while and nothing kept coming up, I decided to take a step back and take each day as it comes.
Sometimes when we think too hard, we stress ourselves to a point where it actually reduces our productivity and rather than make things better it eventually only makes things seem more bleak. One thing I learned from this experience is that sometimes it is very safe to take a step back, chill a little and let things happen naturally.
On a regular day, we may already have plans and a list of goals set to achieve for a day or a week but on some days when your head seems a bit blank and unsure, know that it is absolutely normal and does not mean that you will fail. Take a little time out and relax or distract yourself a bit, refuel your energy both physically and mentally with a little treat and I am sure that by the time you set out, you will surpass your expectations.
I eventually just relaxed and saw a really nice movie, ate some good food and took as much rest as I could get while hanging out with my family, and also started off my day with some light workout and yoga and by the time I checked my phone, I already had waiting tasks to attend to, from one task to another I started getting inspired to do more and alas, the day was made. I do not know what tomorrow holds yet but the week eventually got off to a productive start and I am loving it and the rest of the very rainy week already.
