PREPARING AHEAD FOR EASTER- EASY TIPS TO AVOID STRESS AND ENJOY THE HOLIDAYS.

Good day dear Readers, I do hope the month has been fair to us all. For a lot it has been a really busy month, but then also positively productive. The Easter break is around the corner now and I am sure a couple of us can't wait to take the Easter break. The break should span about four (4) days, weekend inclusive, and the least we can do is make the best of it before work resumes again.

In most parts of the world, prices of goods, especially consumable goods go up during this period so I will advice to start making your Easter plans and getting items you may be needing now before the price hike.

Food items, Clothes and essential household needs are usually the higher pricing goods this period so you may want to focus on getting some for yourself beforehand. While some of us are able to make out ample time to go shopping, others may not have enough time and may hence be caught up in the last minute rush and inflated prices later on, however there is always the option of online shopping.  Most online store now offer a variation of amazing items at really affordable prices and they also deliver it all at your doorstep for a token. Check out Konga Nigeria for some ongoing easter deals as they are one of Nigeria's credible online stores.

Here are a few tips to help plan a happy Easter holiday, the holidays should span from Friday to Monday so you can highlight a few activities for each day;

  • Have a set budget for your holiday activities; This helps you not to overspend and eat up on your savings.
  • Make a set list of activities you may be interested in and choose the ones that may be most achievable during the break. e.g Picnic, Movies, a visit to the beach or the park.
  • You can also make a list of places you may want to go or people you may want to pay a visit during the break. e.g Family, Friends, Church e.t.c..
  • For those of us who love to cook, make a litte meal table of special delicacies you want to make during the holidays and get your ingredients ready.
  • You may also want to make a list of items you need in the house prior to the holidays so you can start shopping.
  • I usually also recommend having a time table of activities for each day, including time I intend to use resting.
  • Start shopping now, to avoid market congestion and also price hike of goods and essential items.
  • You may also want to plan out outfits and looks for your holiday activities, so you will know if you may be needing something for your closet.
I believe following this tips should go a long way in helping us getting the best out of the holidays.
I want to wish you all a HAPPY EASTER celebrations in advance.
CHEERS!!!
